My name is Alison Darlington.

Being in the countryside is my happy place surrounded by country folk and glorious nature. I come from a farming background and live with my husband in a small hamlet near Market Rasen in the Lincolnshire Wolds. Travel has been a big part of my life exploring this amazing planet, and I still thoroughly enjoy an adventure. Three grown-up children keep me grounded and my granddaughter fills my life with sunshine.

I trained with UKSOC to become a celebrant in 2020 after attending a friend's wedding where I witnessed their most individual, magical ceremony.  All of the fun and happiness on that day started with the ceremony.  I conducted wedding ceremonies for six years but retired from this aspect of celebrancy at the end of 2025.

In 2023 I completed my training as a funeral celebrant with OBOD and am now in the privileged position of being able to help you create the perfect ceremony to celebrate your loved one's life.
