About Me
My name is Alison Darlington. I'm a country woman with a love of tradition and romance, but also have a wicked sense of fun. I'm passionate about our planet; love Marvel films, my dogs and a Sunday roast; and really, really love creating ceremonies. I like to think I am young at heart and will happily embrace all your ideas, no matter how wild, wacky or wonderous they may be... so long as they are legal!

Being in the countryside is my happy place surrounded by country folk and glorious nature. I come from a farming background and live with my husband in a small hamlet in the Lincolnshire Wolds. Travel has been a big part of my life exploring this amazing planet, and I still thoroughly enjoy an adventure. Three grown-up children keep me grounded and my granddaughter fills my life with sunshine.

I trained with UKSOC to become a celebrant in 2020 after attending a friend's wedding where I witnessed their most individual, magical ceremony. All of the fun and happiness on that day started with the ceremony. Heartfelt words, great music, romantic and humour-filled readings, a hand-fasting and spine-tingling vows. It was perfect, and I decided then and there that I wanted to be able to bring some of that magic to other people's weddings.

In 2023 I completed my training as a funeral celebrant with OBOD and am now in the privileged position of being able to help you create the perfect ceremony to celebrate your loved one's life.

Whatever your ideas for your perfect celebratory ceremony, let's make them a reality together.
