"We bumped into Ali at a wedding fayre and instantly knew that we wanted her to be our celebrant, although we hadn’t yet set a date or chosen a venue. When we finally did get organised, thankfully Ali was free. We arranged a meeting and she came to our house to discuss what kind of things we wanted to include and gave some great suggestions too, not only ideas for our ceremony but other suppliers she had worked with from dress shops to toilet suppliers – she was a wealth of knowledge and a huge help to two people who were trying to plan a wedding from scratch with no experience!
We were sent a questionnaire to fill out which Ali used to help write her script for the ceremony meaning it was incredibly personal. She also provided help with choosing readings and writing our own vows. It was incredibly easy to get in touch and Ali was incredibly responsive (much faster at responding than we were!).
Before the day, Ali came to visit us at the venue where we were getting married and talked through the whole ceremony so we knew what to expect. She also suggested how would be best to perform our hand fasting ceremony as we wanted to incorporate quite a few ribbons. Nothing was too much trouble and she took everything in her stride.
On the day, Ali was brilliant. She calmed our nerves and we smiled, giggled and laughed our way through the ceremony (with a few tears thrown in for good measure) in front of family and friends who all commented how fabulous the ceremony was, how personal it was how it was so “us”.
In short, we cannot recommend Ali and Silver Hare Celebrations enough. We would not hesitate to book her again for future celebrations and definitely recommend her to friends and family! If you want a ceremony that is completely bespoke to you, Alison is your lady!"​

"Alison was nothing short of amazing! After our first chat with Ali it was a no brainer on choosing her to lead our day. The process started with her talking through ideas and elements that we could include in the ceremony. Followed by filling out a questionnaire, full of all sorts of questions about me and my husband. These were then drafted into a script, which pulled together our personal stories and shared experiences. Her attention to detail and interest in our journey as a couple made the words feel uniquely ours.
On the day of the wedding, Alison’s warmth an humour set the tone perfectly. Many of our friends and family commented on how personal and touching the ceremony was.
We (mostly Katie) were not the easiest of clients because of our tardy response times, but Alison was incredibly patient!!! We couldn't have asked for a better celebrant to guide us through one of the most important days of our lives. Alison truly made our wedding day unforgettable, and for that, we will always be grateful."

My self and my partner was looking for someone to write us a ceremony with a touch of something different and quirky. After a good brainstorm together, Ali wrote us the most perfect story with our added special touches and poem references which was ideal for us.
I’ve been to many weddings where after, you reminisce about the first dance or the food and talk about how amazing the day was. But everyone of our guests have spoken about how unique and special the ceremony was. Instantly drawn in with the opening lines. The ceremony will go down in history.

"If you’re looking for a personalised wedding ceremony this is the best place to go! Alison made our ceremony so special from start to finish. We first met Alison at a wedding show in Lincoln, she was so lovely and we instantly knew we wanted her to be a part of our day.
Alison came to our house numerous times to help us plan our ceremony, nothing was too much hassle, we discussed all our options to find the best outcomes for us.
We didn’t want a typical ceremony with a stranger. With Alison we felt like we weren’t paying for a service but asking for a friend to conduct our ceremony.

"Ali was our celebrant for our outdoor wedding in the Lincolnshire Wolds. Well in advance of the big day, she sent me and my husband a questionnaire that we filled in separately. As I read our unique story that she'd compiled out of those questions, I sobbed like a baby. What she had put together was absolutely stunning and really captured the essence of our relationship and what we wanted to express at our wedding, in front of our nearest and dearest.
Not only that, but Ali sent us ideas for readings and blessings which was a huge help. She gave us loads of ideas of how to make the ceremony and day special with her insight from previous weddings and her own research.
We were very happy with everything Ali did for us and we're so lucky to have her be our celebrant... especially because not many people can say their wedding celebrant is their mother-in-law!
I think the fact Ali had to deliver a wedding ceremony in front of her own family and friends, yet still did an outstanding job is a testament to her passion and dedication to her job.

"Ali was so supportive in the run up to our wedding ceremony - she gave us guidance, creative freedom, lots of wisdom and words of encouragement during the planning stages and helped banish any nerves!
On the day, Ali conducted the ceremony beautifully and I had lots of comments from guests on how great and witty she was. Her readings were lovely​ - we had a handfasting, lots of music and she was really flexible with my toddler being a bit disruptive!
